Which lasts longer, the immunity after getting infected with Covid-19 or the immunity from the vaccine?

In terms of immunity from Covid-19 itself, it’s not known how long the immunity lasts. However, studies have confirmed that it is highly unlikely that a person will be infected twice in a 90 day period. As the vaccine has been out to most of the public since February, and has retained it’s immunity, it can be However, it is still possible for someone with the vaccine to be infected, so be cautious and wear protective gear in public (especially in large groups) no matter your vaccine status.

Who should be vaccinated first? When will I be vaccinated?

The CDC recommends that healthcare personnel and frontline essential workers should be vaccinated first. This is called stage 1b. Next is stage 1c. In this stage, people aged 75 years and older are the priority because they have the highest risk of hospitalization and death from the illness. People ages 16-64 with medical conditions are also eligible for the vaccination. Lastly, other essential workers such as food service, transportation, and finance will receive the vaccination. As production for the vaccine increases, more people will be able to easily get treated. As of January 2022, everyone ages 12 and up are eligible for the vaccine and there is also a booster vaccine that is available for everyone 17 and up.

What ingredients are in the Vaccine?

The current ingredients in the vaccine are mRNA, lipids, salts, sugars, and buffers. Buffers are there so that the PH of the solution is stable so that it doesn’t cause any harm to the body. Some of the ingredients can vary from manufacturer to manufacturer, but these are the general gist of the ingredients.

Will I have to pay any fees along with the Vaccine?

The Federal Government is providing Vaccines free of cost to everyone in the United States.
